Meet the Breeds!

Want a dog or cat but your landlord want allow it so you're forced to "secretly" pet animals all day long?

Do you die every time you see an adorable puppy or kitten on the train?

Well good news for you - MEET THE BREEDS is coming!

"The AKC is happy to once again offer the public the opportunity to play with and literally ‘meet’ thousands of dogs and cats, including some of the rarest breeds most people have only read about," said AKC Meet the Breeds Spokesperson and AKC Assistant Vice President Gina DiNardo. "AKC Meet the Breeds will allow animal lovers to play with a 200 pound Mastiff dog that is larger than most New York City kitchens and pet a hairless Xolo puppy all while learning about the characteristics of more than 160 dog breeds."

Chaos Cooking!

As someone who loves food (perhaps a little too much...) I was quite intrigued when I heard about Chaos Cooking.

You sign up on their site where you can then see upcoming events. At each event every attendant brings the ingredients for one dish, and each person brings enough to serve all other attendees. So if there are 15 people at an event you get to try 15 different dishes!

It's like Thanksgiving times a million.

Oh and I forgot to mention - it's held in a NYC apartment. How do they pull that off?! I have no idea but I need to see it to believe it so let's do this and EAT!
